If your calendar seems one day off...

go into your profile and make sure your time zone setting is correct.

It should read for all in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (Ohio is in that one):

GMT -4 Hours.

If this is not set correctly, your calendar will be a day off.

There is a thread regarding timezone settings.

The timezone setting generally does not follow daylight savings time either. You have to manually adjust that yourself -- unless this new host happens to adjust theirs.

I know...
but I wanted to point this out again, since both N:Coder and Stiffy recently asked me what was up with the calendar being "off" by a day. I think this is the solution to their issue.

there MAY be something screwed up with the times... more troubleshooting to do.. but i think that is a template error not anything else.

1) Stiffy said my suggestion fixed it, so why go through all that trouble?

2) Great! Thanks!

There is an error where it says "All times are" and it puts in the timezone. Those things bug me Wink

Isn't that only for half the year, because of Daylight Saving's Time?

WOW, I didn't understand the error here until today. I'll look into this more.

Grr..

Just found out that a non-registerd user is a day behind... so the fix of adjusting your timezone is not a valid one because majority of people will be a day off. I'll have to work on this.

Just set global calendar to -4 GMT and it seemed to fix everything for users not logged in - and new users too.

My profile setting is at -5 GMT and a default user is at -4 GMT.

Suppose that GMT -4hours is what I'm set at...and the event (1yr annv) is still set in the calendar the day after it happens...suggestions?

From a logged out status, the Calendar dates appear to be correct. That's the most important thing. Logged into the forum, my profile time zone is -4 GMT and it is correct.
