THis might be too crazy for people out there but what about a better business bureau for promoters ..this way when someone has a bad experience with a promoter they can report it and this might help screen out some of the less organized promoters or ones that do not say what they are actually going to do .. I already have it writen out as to how could work.. hit me up if someone actually thinks this is not a bad idea...

Uh, try to create a different name for this. As a member of the BBB, I believe that we should create and promote and foster the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer and business education, and service excellence.

This is what the BBB's philosphy is. Should we create one for EDM and this message board????

Thaaaat acronym would work wonders.

"If you don't refund my money the Pee Pee Pee will be all over you! It'll be like an R. Kelley video up in here!"

In all seriousness, what would a regulatory group that doesn't necessarily reperesent all of the promoters in cleveland do other than piss off those that choose not to participate in it? If stupid shit happens people find out soon enough anyway, so I don't see where this would be beneficial.

Duh. That's it exactly. The motto of the PPP could be: "Don't Pee on the partygoers and we won't PPP on you."

I agree, JT...
<sarcasm> more bureaucracy is just what we need. That always fixes everything! </sarcasm>
