Sergio's Sarava in Shaker Square. Better than the actual Sergio's IMO. Other than that I'm not familiar with the area.

**edit** it's not cheap and you'd better be in the mood for seafood as there's not much vegetarian fare.

You might wanna try Tommy's on Coventry Road if you've never been there before. They have an interesting menu (and atmosphere -- cool art) AND specialize in vegetarian cuisine (so A.K. might appreciate that). Plus the price is right.

Their humus was super good ... so good that over a year later I still crave it and haven't found a good enough replacement to abstain from craving their brand.

Weird thing ... on their menu they spell humus as "homos".

Cafe Tandoor on S Taylor has some excellent indian cuisine.

Also, as Graph said, Mad Greek is awesome and not too expensive.

I dig Night Town as well.

Jimmy O'Neill's tavern on Lee if you're in the mood for tasty pubfare (and Jimmy O'Neill is a cool, crazy, old Irish guy).

Indeed.

If Graphy doesn't like the Mad Greek, his loss. It just reaffirms that he has no taste. ;-)

As to Filly's point, I've heard those rumors too, but every time I've been there I've been quite happy with my experience.
