is it just me or has discogs been down for like a week now? i'd like to blame it on my connection but i will be upset if it is actually down... i use that more than any other reference material ever created! oucH!! Confused

i'd be surprised if most of you don't use it but for those who don't
http://www.discogs.com

arrrrrrrrgh 95% of my collection is archived there, i couldn't imagine having to go into excel and manually create a new database of all my 12"'s!

Yes, It has been down for a few days. I have been able to get into it on various occassions to find the code all shotty and scrambled. the links werent working either when I got in. Most of times I have tried I wasnt even able to get on it at all.

Sucks, what a great resource, I hope its not done for.

I've done that. It took me more than a week to enter ARTIST, TRACKS, LABEL, YEAR into a Microsoft Access database file. I'd say if you're going to do it, make it in Access, not Excel, for easier cross referencing (that way you can lookup by title, year, artist, or track name).
