I'm working in Denver this weekend, and I've never been there before. Where is a good place to go?

I found "The Church," online... they have DJ DRC this Saturday. I haven't heard her in years, so that might be interesting.

Also, this Friday night at Vinyl is Hipp-e and the Greenskeepers...so I'll definitely be checking that one out.

Your doing pretty well finding stuff youself. Vinyl has been remodeled after the roof caved in after a snow storm a few years back. One of the best sound systems in the country after the Church.

The Church is fucking cool! Four other rooms besides the massive main cathedral area playing different music in each. Plus a big ass patio on the roof with another bar. There's a headliner damn near every Saturday and the locals rock. The Church also owns another club down the street a block called 2am and is the after hours spot for them. Great local talent! Ask around. The people are friendly.

There's another, Pure, but it changed its name and I can't remember what its called now. If you ask around at The Church or Vinyl someone will help you out. I think the new owners are throwing a party every weekend now. My buddy Jay said He went to that AK1200,Dara,Desiel Boy show that came here last month.

Those are my favorites. Check'em out. Denver is a Beautiful city, have fun!

Also if You like sushi check out Sushi Heights on 2301 East Colfax Avenue
right down town. Damn good food and the prices are pretty good.

Friends of mine turned me on to Pete's Kitchen down the block. Open 24 hours. Breakfast anytime. If you don't leave that joint stuffed for cheap, somethings wrong with you and you should get it checked out.

I do like sushi. Thanks, again.

Oh, so I should make sure not to leave my tapeworm at home.

Note to self: Pack tapeworm.

not sure if it's still up and running, but if you see it in the phone book, the funky buddha was pretty cool last time I was there. lounge seating, smallish/intimate good house music.

hooked up w/ a hottie in leather pants when I was there if that helps you know what kinda crowd it is.

and yes, she did like being tied up with the pants....

Just got home. Denver is beautiful.

Vinyl was a phenomenal space, but the Greenskeepers weren't there. Someone mistakenly posted that on their website?! WTF?

No one there had any clue who the Greenskeepers were. The bartenders and staff, doorguy, etc. None of 'em. They didn't even know who Hipp-e was, and he was spinning in the basement.

Bizarre.

Thanks for the info Justin! That rooftop patio was killer cool, though!
