I'm somewhere between beginner and novice. I've been getting schooled here in Cleveland about tech house, etc via all the great talent you guys have pulled in from all over. I used to be an inudstrial kid way back. so... I feel like a totaly dweeb.. This is my first introduction to Rabbit. My friend from the old NYC scene told me that they've recorded a lot of tracks for Sacsha & Digweed, so I have to check this out. He totally lost it, when I told him it's a free show. Needless to say, he's cancelling his plans to attend tonight. I hope there's still some more free tickets! Razz From the pics of one of their shows, my friends showed me in Chicago, their shows are quite psychodelic and interactive. They were actually in the show.

Wow!! What an amazing show! I'm still trying to get over the fact, that it was totally free! I'll happily pay $$ to see them next time. Cool Cleveland represented last night, too!

It was good to see ya again, Alex. From what I gather, in the D&B scene, you are legend. You take the most wacked out pictures, too. Razz Gee, who WASN'T at the show last night? lol

Great evening for sure!!

Wanted to get there earlier - my friend who had played the didgeridoo w/ them in Chicago last august
was with me and gonna inquire about playing didg w/ them again .. but we were stuck in traffic and didn't get to the Odeon until about 10:30.

Yeap, it was FREE admission!
And Camel gave evryone 2 packs of cigs and free drink coupons at the bar!
= )

The Wyld Bunch were rockin it when we got there. (http://www.wyldebunch.com/) - funky rap band out of LA.

Started filming when Dave & Bunny came on and had a great spot up front.
They opened with 'Party People'.
Bunny reminded the audiance that they were at a FREE party, and urged the crowd to let loose and party like it was a free party - weeee!
I hadn't seen Dave or Bunny before the show but Bunny recognized me about the second or third track into their set and ran down to give me a big hug.
Later (and on several occasions) he took my video camera and HE did some filming!! BUNNY CAM stylee!!
Their set was sweet, they pretty much tagged back & forth b/t the two of them, with vjtek rolling the visuals on three large back-drop screens.
There were three scantily-clad female dancers (one of which was a mess - girl was stumbling the entire night .. the other two were dancing much better .. they had body paint and one girl had 'Patrick' written on her ass! ), some performers in cool costumes and on stilts and contortionists and acrobats ...
Another highlight was 'Diamond Dust' about mid-set.
..
I forget what else I was gonna say ... hehe ..
..
Dave confirmed that they are doing full LIVE show in Detroit at the end of May
= )
(so if you thought their dj set was impressive, deffinately check out one of their LIVE PAs .. )
..

Yeah, but it was a great night!

THANK YOU CAMEL!

Great show last night was a fun time took a lot of pics and videos too. It was good to see everyone have a great time and the vibe was one of the best I've seen in years. It made all the hard work and stress that I went through worth it.

They had members of SAFMOD (Xan, Kelly, and others) performing in stilts and costumes. My favorite SAFMOD dancers, Hope and Zoe Schultz, weren't there though.

RITM was definitely on at 1, they went on @ 12:15. The entire show was great, and I see now how The Wylde Bunch got their name. Everyone seemed to have had a blast, which thrilled me to see that the vibe was good. Hope everyone had a good time!
