hi there. i'm brian. i'm a volunteer for mpmf--actually, everyone who works for the fest is a volunteer. anyway, i hate to just drop in and lay a generic press release on you, but i'm going to anyway. you'll find it below. here's what i'll add: the fest is really trying to reach out to dj, electronica, and hip hop this year. admittedly, it hasn't drawn a lot of those types of acts thus far. but don't forget that we do have some interesting names that call (or called) cincinnati home: boom bip, mr dibbs, and hi-tek to name a few. furthermore, since this isn't a genre-specific fest, you'll have a real opportunity to reach out to a new audience. i hope you'll take that opportunity.
we're only a 4hr drive away...i know this because i lived in cleveland for 5 years...five years ago. again, i'd like to see you come to the fest, but you should know that they don't have subs as good as grum's down here.
that's all for now.
cheers,
brian
