I know that there is a fairly large Asian community in Cleveland. From Midtown to the West Side and lately (past 2-3 years) even the East Side.

Thing is, that unless they do not go out, which is plausible as far as the book nerd stereotype tells us, I haven't managed to track them down. I know that most of the time Asians tend to sick with other Asians (closed groups to outsiders), but when they congregate together the must go someplace right?


Where do the Asians hang out at?

Who primarily caters to them (think venues/promoters)?

What scenes


For a long time I've been thinking of tracking down what I consider to be a very undeserved market and I'm sure that I'll do it this fall. Of course Case is a starting point. From my experiences there is that Asian students do these dorm parties which basically include loud music, video games, alcohol, even marijuana (haha), but groups rarely get larger then 15 and most often under 15 people. Still, I believe that there are these places in Cleveland, and I just do not know about them.


Also, before semantics create confusion, by Asian I really mean East Asian.

This board is dead because (of Facebook, and) the Cleveland scene is somewhat dead because the city of Cleveland and its surrounding metropolitan area is poor and miserable. Its hardcore ravers, of mostly lower socioeconomic status, are usually broke (and unemployed) and have little disposable income for partying.
