You gotta leave Cleveland for my favorite Mex. restaurant. And, no, you don't have to go to Mexico. Mad Mex out in Pittsburgh is just the effin' sh!t. Burrito, I mean Brigette, will agree with me on that. I also had an amazing Chimmichanga at some place in Toronto earlier this year. I couldn't tell you where it was or what it was called cuz I was severely wasted. That could have been why it tasted so good too.

Dori and I go to Mad Mex all the time when I'm down in the burgh...it's so conveniently located right across the street from her building. They have tasty enchiladas, too!

Burrito Lady and I went to El Rodeo on Mayfield the other night. Food wasn't too bad. Chips and salsa were excellent and the Margaritas were top notch. Unfortunately we were a day off for the special on the pitcher of Margaritas.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this place, and I'm too lazy to look..but Mariachi Locos across from Chapel Hill Mall in the a-k-rowdy is really good, too.

Mad Mex definately rocks... great food, decent beer selection too, and huge frozen margeritas for those of you into wussie drinks.

nuevo acapulco is the shit!

they are one of the few "authentic" tex-mex restaurants around here that don't cook their whole (pinto) beans with animal products (butter, grease drippings, chicken stock, etc). el tango uses butter, mi pueblo uses lard, el rodeo uses pork grease, luchita's uses pork grease, and taqueria guadelajara uses chicken stock. so, i support nuevo cause it's good food, relatively cheap, and vegan-friendly. chipotle and que tal are easily vegan-friendly, also. i don't know if anybody else shares a strictly veg/vegan diet, but in case you do, there you have it.

also, the guac at mi pueblo has sour cream mixed into it. yuk.

You definitely need to check out El Tango Taqueria in Lakewood. It's on Madison between Bunts (w.140) and Warren (w.150). Their quesidilla is the bomb. Tacos are good too.

yeah, i love their quesedillas. mariachi locos in the valley is good too.

best i've had is this little hole in the wall. Taqueria Ranchero - 286 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave in Akron

its like a small burger grill type joint that got turned into a mexican place, the owner and his wife run it, and they have a girl that helps out. he can only cook a few things at a time, so i'd go when it isn't lunch/dinner time

haven't been there in awhile. mmmmmmm nummy!
