IMHO the BEST salsa can be found at MI Pueblo, and they also have Live music on friday nights, plus they have 3 locations around the cleveland area to serve many. and is VERY reasonably priced. Wink

Lopez for upscale Mexican dining, east side.

Their lobster empanadas are fantastic, and they offer low price tequila specials on Tuesdays!

I kind of miss the Cuyahoga Falls Akron area because of a mexian chain " El Paso " or whatever the name was ... damn cheap and good mexican food!

I maintain the best Mexican in town is a joint called Cozumel in Broadview Heights. Authentic stuff.... it's the bees knees.

I can't wait until they build one on Westlake, it's a lot closer to me than the eastside location.

Nuevo Acapulco is my fav Mexican joint.

El tango taqueia USED to be good, but the last time I went there the prices were higher and the food quality went DOWN.

glad to see a mexican section cuz it's my weakness Twisted Evil !!!

lately i've been getting my fix over at el taqueria guadalejara on lorain past w. 117. they have the best orchatas in the city(until i find something better) and not only is the food really authentic, the prices are rock bottom! the only downside is that they don't serve alcohol  .

i definitely agree with reese that mi pueblo has the best salsa in town. i used to always stumble over there drunk after a punk rock show at the euclid tavern and just eat chips, salsa, and margaritas.

jdat are you thinking of el rincon? yeah they have some good stuff!

damn i'm hungry now......mexican anyone?!?!?!

If you ever venture out the far east (aka Lake County), stop in Painesville for some authentic Mexican eating, most notably the Latin Corner and El Amigo. Some places out here also have mini-grocery stores in them, so you can take home some Jumex or whatever if you'd like.

As a KSU grad, I gotta show some love for El Campesino and El Rincon as well, buena comida.

I am totally hooked on Que-Tal on Coventry. Big ass burritos for $5.95 and the freshest ingredients.
