That's a different type of spam Our emails aren't public, so these are not able to be harvested unless you go posting your email address. The spam we got was someone posting one of the pyramid scheme styled spam messages. I banned him by the ip he signed up with, and the ip he posted from. Not sure if it was a real person or a bot. This isn't the first spam attack we have had. We used to have people register, because the link to the website in their profile is something that increases google rankings. The "enter the code you see" thing stopped that. In December, we had another type of attack, but the forum had been patched in a timely manner so nothing bad came of it, and I did some stuff to block the bots.
