sorry ididnt get back sooner...

i'm not sure what rottoms are but i like the word!
they sound cool. i have a couple djembes, a doumbek.

no congas just yet but i think by june i'll crack.

i live on the west side, but i like the sound of a metropark. i'm sure we can find one where we can actually play. edgewater has a few relatively sound friendly spots, as well as the rock hall. we should get together in the evening as soon as possible, maybe in the next week or this weekend during the late afternoon. that would be ideal!

letoii, i dont know you( i dont think) but i'm sure we'll get along. we should hook up. I'll pM my number to you.

anyone interested in playing some drums today. a couple people are going out in the late afternoon, around 4-4:30...

three met last week and played at the north end of voinovich park on the big concrete steps. it was pretty sweet with the sun over the water...
the people seemed to like it as well.

call me if you want to meet.

I'm definitely interested in the whole summer drumming idea, but won't have time for the next few weeks. Gotta get done with finals first. :-\

After that, I'm *all* about it.

i has the pleasure of playing drums in the Metroparks in Berea this past weekend...this i the ultimate spot!!

the Music Mound...anyone heard of it? apparently it was popular in the 70's. i guess bands used to play there often.

this will definitely be the prefered spot for drumming this summer. we will be continuing to play on the weekends. so far we've been going on saturday afternoon. we'd like to get some more people to play...

i'll make some phone calls next time we go...
hit me up if you want to go (330) 348-3188

peace!

Stout and I were thinking you guys should have a drum circle at the park by 12th St. downtown behind the Kinko's on E. 9th. That's a chill little park and suddenly it turned really green. Its the best of both worlds: nature and urban.

Hey-

I graduate this weekend and once I'm done with that and moving on Monday/Tuesday, I'd be all about getting involved with this.

How about venturing to Whipp's Ledges in Hinckley for some drumming soon, when the weather begins to actually act like Summer?

My friend Matt has a didgeridoo along with some congas and bongos. We're down for drumming.

count me in after this week/weekend, my true luv is the guitar, but i have a drumset and also some bongos... i take 'em with me whenever i go to festivals. i also have one of those little backpacker guitars for the beach and roadtrips, it be cool to join in on this Cool

i usually head up to mentor headlands since i'm out east, but if you guys decide a spot i'll swing out that way!

The caves and cliffs at Whipp's Ledges add some acoustic effects... but wherever's clever.
