It is like two M-Audio Oxygen controllers at 10 times the price! What a bargain!

On midi controllers you basically have the options of a button, a knob, a pad, or a key. Fancy dancy and expensive ones use an optical sensor ("I-Beam"). Bottom line is they all do the same thing and all have a max resolution of 127 steps.

I also imagine that you couldn't twist a nobs and move a few faders at the same time without the midi jamming up and getting sloppy.

Unless it uses some not-on-the-shelf communication protocol the Maven doesn't do more than any other midi controller.

I ended up seeing Sasha with his new toy in Miami...

Super Dark Set.

I was pretty damn tired that night but...I was hoping the whole time that he would stop doing these "stutter beats on the fly"

I don't know much about how it works, but is it really possible to get a quality remix " on the fly"? I mean doesn't it take hours to do it in the studio? I really didn't like what I heard that night, maybe I was just exhausted...well not maybe, I was but still; Remixing on the Fly?

whatayathink?
