thats cool and all,but whats to stop anybody in the future from djing at club/casino..i used to live in reno nevada, and these are a big thing, simply because the state tax is lower at these locations for the fact its not technicly a "casino" its a club, although the owners advertise it as such.

I'm not trying to put Jon down, but he isn't a very good dj, IMO. He has a ton of passion and his self promotion is like none other. That's what gets him gigs. That and club owners having no clue about music.

Maybe you should evaluate your own "story" before commenting on mine, "bro".

thats the point i was trying to make... about the passion and drive ...not the ability... it's nice to see when someone never gives up on their dreams...

you might want to come to one of my shows now days. i learned alot at spun dj academy in portland when i was there for 2 yrs. i'm alot different then i was in cleveland as far as mixing, transitions, and phrazing goes. but still have the same passion and perseverance . also i've added something new to some of my shows. i have a yamaha dtxplorer drum set that i bring out and play live while i dj, very entertaining and fun ,..... but alot of work. as for genres i'm doing now i do alot of electro , house and dubstep. still do trance in at the raves i spin at a few times a year ( last one was with diesel boy,q bert and shiftee 2 weeks ago) next one is oct 29th with infected mushroom for ALICE IN ZOMBIELAND in pittsburgh. i'm also working on the producing side of things and hope to have a single out for a rave i'm playing at around xmas and a full cd out by memorial day next year. but i will always thank all the haters in cleveland and portland for making me push myself , i love it back here in my hometown area at the casino and the other few clubs i'm playing at and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon. P.L.U.R.

2 yrs ago i lost my hearing in my left ear and had to learn to dj all over again. by listening in my headphone on one ear and feeling the bass in my hand or foot ( whichever i choose to put on the speaker that sits next to me all the time) it took a few months to get that working good but it actually made me pay way way more attention to whats going on with the music . but i wasn't ready to stop djing yet this is year number 25 for me and it all started out with a 8 track and a cassette in 1986 after i got out of the US Army.
