jonathan sawyer's (that goofy long haired guy who helps out michael symon on dinner impossible) new spot.

possibly one of the best meals i've had in a year.

reasonably priced, proper portions, creative menu. check out their website to learn more about their angle when it comes to where they get their food.

decor is pretty bland, but if your focus is on the food, you won't even notice.

the cod entree was the best fish i've had in a really long time.

make sure you try some of their classic cocktails as well.

went there this past friday

really fresh simple food done right. the bread salad was righteous. i asked them where they got the asparagus, they wouldn't tell me (probably the best asparagus i've ever had in my life)

i'm very sensitive to salt (i salt nothing) ... everything had salt overtones but still had enough balance that it was still delicious. from the little olives to the bread&butter to the prosciutto (durr its all salty things, i know)

the chicken wings were awesome too. no grease here, just jalapenos (and monster spicy ones at that)

the horseradish vodka chaser for the oysters was, uh, interesting

i had the steak frites - a really decent, tasty meal. almost little to no seasoning which was nice and let the beef speak for itself. the frites were served with a hot sprig of rosemary which made for a nice first whiff of the plate.

8.75/10 would eat there again for sure. don't go expecting monster flavor combos, expect a refreshing hearty meal.

Been hyping this cod for a minute. Seriously impressed all around (except the horseradish vodka they serve with their oysters.

We really need to get there. I watched the construction photos as they were posted for what seemed like eons.

Not only is the food local/organic etc...but the place was built sustainably too which is pretty cool.

Went there Saturday with my wife and loved it. I thought the design of everything from the interior to the menus to the website was really well done. Loved that you could go to a green/organic place without feeling like you should be wearing a turtleneck.

Had the prosciutto which was out of this world. I regretted getting the oysters the second they arrived - nothing wrong with them, I was just feeling too adventurous when I ordered. Should have gotten the wings. As has been said, the cod was great.

omg, really looking forward to hitting this spot up. For some reason, had no idea it was Sawyer's.

Did lunch here yesterday for work.
Its good and all, not the holy grail of burgers or anything. Smelled allot like touch which was weird.. think it was the rosemary on everything. Decent prices average about $8 a burger so its the same youll pay most anywhere. Great beer selection too.

best tasting chicken wings EVAR. jesus.

yeah, dude is one of 10 nominated for that action. I could've told you that Wink.

I also could've worked under him, but chose poorly and decided not to due to the hours. C'est la vie.
