I know we've had a million discussions about sushi, but does anyone have some great suggestions/experience with hibachi places and would like to recommend?

I've done the typical google search/read reviews but I thought I'd get an opinion from people I know.

Many thanks!!

I've had hibachi three times.

Once in Maui.
Once in Lakewood.
Once in Bucyrus

They were really all about the same. I don't know if you can get anything special out of Hibachi.

Brent says Benni Hanna.... Sakira is lakewood is where i went. Just go to Mongolian BBQ - it is all you can eat Wink

Thanks for the replies...I think I realize the food would be about the same, but I've had some extremely sub-par chefs (no tricks, gimmicks, conversation, nuthin) in the past and I guess was looking for a place where someone had good entertainment to go along with the food.

I live all of 30 second walk from Sakura yet haven't been...guess I'll have to hit it up!

Thanks again!

Hibachi Japan, located 5 minutes from my house in cuyahoga falls is awesome, been going there for years, also a small sushi bar you can sit at if your only there for sushi, there hibachi grill is amazing Smile. The chefs are always funny, manage to always sit down at a full table of different people, give a ring if you guys want to get a group together to eat sometime!

I hear a lot about Ginza, but have never actually been. On top of that I've never heard that they had hibatchi so this inclines me even more. I'm partial to tuna steaks though and a place in Fairview (can't remember name off top of head) didn't have it Crying or Very sad

Plan on breakin my Sakura cherry here soon...

BRANDON, Smile pick a date and time for hibachi, round up a group and bring them down, we'd be more then happy to eat here again, we love this place as we live 5 minutes away. Promise you'll love hibachi japan in cuyahoga falls.

Yup, that's the one! Wasn't too impressed at all.

That being said I went to Sakura this past Saturday...

Holy mother of god is the Manhattan Roll amazing. As is the Fire Island roll we got as well. Seriously some of the best sushi I've had...amazed and so incredibly happy that it's a 10 second walk from my house. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Dan, a trip will be planned. Kat and I have the "try lots of different sh!t" bug. I'll hit ya up when I'm thinkin of coming down!
