Thank you! This is what I've tried to get across to people here, but no one seems to get it. The food here in general is dumbed down for the Caucasian palate, and all the Indians I know say the same thing. Nothing good here..but I do think the Cleveland Hts Cafe Tandoor suffices, considering the alternative choices if you want to eat out and not cook yourself, and quite honestly, I don't know many non-Indians who know how to really cook the food...
As far as you being Indian and not really digging the goodness - I am utterly shocked!!
I couldn't live without it! I seriously could eat dawe wale aloo, kali dal, fried eggs and chapatis/rotis every single day for breakfast for the rest of my life and be forever happy.
To your question about Ty Fun, yes they do have a nice vegetarian selection. And read my review on Mint Cafe...it's the best Thai food in Cleveland by a long shot.
